現在很多網站都用到Cookies，特別是用戶的登陸以及購物網站的購物車。 Cookies 通常用來存儲用戶信息和用戶在某應用系統的操作，當一個用戶使用Cookies 訪問了某一個應用系統時，Web 服務器將發送關于用戶的信息，把該信息以Cookies 的形式存儲在客戶端計算機上，這可用來創建動態和自定義頁面或者存儲登陸等信息。
如果Web 應用系統使用了Cookies ，就必須檢查Cookies 是否能正常工作。測試的內容包括Cookies是否起作用，存儲的內容是否正確，是否按預定的時間進行保存，刷新對Cookies 有什么影響等。

如果到\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files文件夾下查看每個Cookies文件是一件很麻煩的事情，這個時候就需要有工具來幫助我們。

1、Cookie Editor

比較大的特點是可以顯示出IE，Netscape和Firefox的Cookie；因為Netscape和Firefox的Cookie不是存儲在Temporary Internet Files文件夾下的，而是在Application Data文件夾下的對應文件夾里。
